Game #5: Dallas Mavericks 100, Oklahoma City Thunder 96

The Thunder’s season ended with a thud in Dallas last night when they were outscored 28-20 in the 4th quarter. Russell Westbrook only shot 11 of 28 from the floor but he led the way for the Thunder with 31 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot. Kevin Durant also had a rough shooting day hitting 8 of 20 shots from the floor to finish up with 23 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 blocked shot. James Harden also had a solid game with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal off the bench. Nick Collison pitched in with 12 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots off the bench. The Thunder lost the Western Conference Finals 4-1 to the Mavericks.

Game #4: Dallas Mavericks 112, Oklahoma City Thunder 105 in O.T.

The Thunder got sloppy late in the 4th quarter and overtime and it cost them this game. The Thunder outrebounded the Mavericks 55-33 and they still lost, and that’s hard to do. Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder last night with 29 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 blocked shot, but, he also turned the ball over 9 times in this game. Russell Westbrook only shot 7 for 22 from the floor and he turned the ball over six times, but, he still finished up with 19 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals. Serge Ibaka was tough around the basket with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocked shots last night. Thabo Sefolosha filled up the stat sheet with 12 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot. The Thunder are now in desperation mode as they are now down 3-1 to the Mavericks in this series.

Game #3: Dallas Mavericks 93, Oklahoma City Thunder 87

The Thunder only shot 36.5% from the floor and they feel behind 27-12 in the first quarter and it was too much to overcome. Russell Westbrook led the way for the Thunder last night with 30 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Kevin Durant had an off night shooting as he only hit 7 of 22 shots from the floor. He still finished up with 24 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Serge Ibaka only shot 4 for 11 from the floor but he still finished up with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocked shots last night. Nick Collison pitched in with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots in 24 minutes off the bench. The Thunder are now down 2-1 in this series.

Game #2: Oklahoma City Thunder 106, Dallas Mavericks 100

The Thunder shot 55.7% from the floor last night and it was the main reason for the huge win in Dallas.  Kevin Durant (24 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot) and James Harden (23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals) led the way for the Thunder last night.  Russell Westbrook had 18 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists in the first three quarters last night before being nailed to the bench the rest of the game.  Eric Maynor was very effective last night with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 20 minutes on the floor.  The Thunder have tied up this series at 1 game apiece.

The Thunder didn’t play any D last night as the Mavericks shot 53.4% from the floor while Dirk Nowitzki dropped 48 points on them in this game! Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder last night with 40 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots. Russell Westbrook only shot 3 of 15 from the floor but he still finished up with 20 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Serge Ibaka had 17 points, 6 rebounds and 1 steal but he couldn’t stop Nowitzki. James Harden pitched in with 12 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 blocked shot last night. The Thunder are now down 1-0 to the Mavericks.
