Reggie Jackson is off to a slow start for the Oklahoma City Thunder

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Rookie Reports, Front Page by alleyoop on Thursday 12 January 2012 at 11:57 am

21-year old point guard Reggie Jackson is off to a slot start for the Thunder this year. They need him to pick up the pace though as he is now the #2 point guard behind Russell Westbrook due to Eric Maynor’s season ending injury. Jackson has played in 6 games (0 starts) for the Thunder so far this year and he is averaging 10.2 minutes, 4.7 points, 0.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Jackson is only shooting 36% from the floor so far this year, but he should be able to improve on that due to getting more consistent minutes.

Cole Aldrich didn’t do much as a rookie for the Oklahoma City Thunder

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Rookie Reports, Front Page by alleyoop on Thursday 14 April 2011 at 5:18 pm

22-year old center Cole Aldrich bounced around between the D-League and the Thunder the whole year long, so he probably never got too comfortable. He played in 18 games (0 starts) for the Thunder this year and he averaged 7.9 minutes, 1.0 point, 1.9 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. In all fairness to Aldrich, the Thunder never really gave Aldrich much of a chance to show what he can and can’t do. I think they are going to bring him along very slowly as Kendrick Perkins is the main man in the middle for now.

Cole Aldrich is still nailed to the bench for the Oklahoma City Thunder

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Rookie Reports, Front Page by alleyoop on Friday 4 March 2011 at 5:32 pm

22-year old rookie center Cole Aldrich has either been nailed to the bench in Oklahoma City or he has been playing in the D-League. The Thunder are really bringing him along slowly. He has played in 11 games (0 starts) for the Thunder so far this year and he is averaging 9.9 minutes, 1.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. Aldrich has a nice upside but the Thunder don’t have room for him right now because they have a very deep and talented frontcourt ahead of him. Aldrich is just going to have to keep working hard and bide his time.

Cole Aldrich is having a rough rookie year for the Oklahoma City Thunder

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Rookie Reports, Front Page by alleyoop on Friday 21 January 2011 at 6:52 pm

The Thunder have Nenad Krstic, Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison ahead of 22-year old rookie Cole Aldrich on the depth chart so don’t look for him to get P.T. any time soon. With that in mind, the Thunder have sent Aldrich to the D-League so that he could get some P.T. Aldrich has played in 7 games (0 starts) for the Thunder so far this year and he is averaging 7.9 minutes, 1.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.1 assists per game.

The Oklahoma City Thunder dispatch Cole Aldrich to the D-League

Blogged under General, Bloglockers, Rookie Reports, Front Page by alleyoop on Friday 31 December 2010 at 10:44 am

The Thunder have sent 22-year old rookie center Cole Aldrich to the D-League for the second time this year. Aldrich has played in 7 games (0 starts) for the Thunder so far this year and he is averaging 7.9 minutes, 1.0 point, 1.9 rebounds and 0.1 assists per game. This is a good move for the Thunder as Aldrich isn’t going to get any better sitting on the bench in Oklahoma. He is stuck behind Nenad Krstic, Serge Ibaka and Nick Collison on the Thunder’s depth chart at center.
