The Thunder have waived 24-year old shooting guard Kyle Weaver. Weaver played in 12 games (0 starts) for the Thunder last season and he averaged 12.0 minutes, 3.0 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. He played in 68 games (19 starts) in his two years with the Thunder and he averaged 19.3 minutes, 4.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. The Thunder won’t miss Weaver too much as he was #3 on the depth chart at shooting guard for the Thunder.

The Thunder have signed 28-year old PG/SG Royal Ivey to an undisclosed contract. Ivey played in 44 games (0 starts) for the Sixers & Bucks last season and he averaged 7.4 minutes, 2.1 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. He has now played in 378 games (109 starts) in his six years in the NBA and he has averaged 13.1 minutes, 3.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. I don’t see Ivey getting much P.T. for the Thunder as he will be likely on the third team.
