The Thunder have acquired 20-year old center Tibor Pleiss (#31 overall pick) from the Hawks for some cold, hard cash. Pleiss is a big guy at 7′1″, 242 pounds but he’s kind of soft. He played in 34 games in Germany last season and he averaged 8.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 0.2 assists and 1.4 blocked shots per game. In four years in Germany, Pleiss played in 73 games in which he has averaged 6.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 0.2 assists and 0.9 blocked shots per game. The Thunder are collecting big guys and that bodes well for the future.
