The Oklahoma City Thunder release Ryan Bowen

The Thunder have released 34-year old small forward Ryan Bowen. Bowen played in 1 game for the Thunder this season working 8 minutes and scoring 4 points, grabbing 2 rebounds and he had 1 steal. The Thunder won’t miss Bowen one bit as they are going with youth.

The Thunder flat out played better than the Jazz in Salt Lake City last night. Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder last night with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Jeff Green pitched in with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals last night. Russell Westbrook finished up with 17 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists last night. The Thunder is now 8-7 on the year.

The Thunder only shot 37.2% from the floor last night and that was the reason for the beat down that they took. Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder last night with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Russell Westbrook only shot 5 of 16 from the floor but he still finished with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 blocked shots. D.J. White was solid off the bench for the Thunder with 12 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in only 15 minutes. Rookie center Serge Ibaka only shot 4 of 12 from the floor but he still finished up with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocked shots in 32 minutes. The Thunder are now 7-7 on the year.

The Thunder shot 53% from the floor last night and it was a big reason for the win. Kevin Durant led the way for the Thunder again last night with 35 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Russell Westbrook was outstanding running the offense with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. James Harden had his best game of his young NBA career last night as he finished with 25 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Jeff Green was solid as usual last night with 19 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists. The Thunder are now 7-6 on the year.

The Thunder didn’t show up for this game last night as they were trailing 88-58 after three quarters. Rookie James Harden had the best game of his young career last night with 24 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Kevin Durant had a night to forget as he shot 4 of 12 from the floor finishing with 12 points and 3 rebounds in only 26 minutes. Kyle Weaver has very solid off the bench for the Thunder with 11 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in only 15 minutes on the court. The Thunder are now 6-6 on the year.
