Scott Brooks does not have much experience as a head coach so he’s learning on the job just like the young players of the Thunder. Last season was his first with the Thunder and he was 22-47 (31.9%). The Thunder expect Brooks to get the Thunder close to a .500 record this season but that will be easier said than done due to the strength of the NBA’s Western Conference. It’s quite possible that Brooks will get the team to improve despite the record not improving much in 2009-2010.
