Dallas Mavericks 111, Seattle Supersonics 96

The Supersonics lost their 10th game in a row tonight and it wasn’t much of a contest. The Mavericks led 66-44 at the half and they shot 51.7% from the floor as a team to dominate the game. Wally Szczerbiak led the way for the Sonics with 26 points and 4 rebounds. Nick Collison gave a good effort down low for the Sonics with 16 points and 12 rebounds in this game. The Sonics are now 9-31 on the season with this loss.

Memphis Grizzlies 124, Seattle Supersonics 100

The Supersonics didn’t play any defense last night as the Grizzlies shot 52% from the floor and that did them in. Kevin Durant led the way for the Sonics with 22 points and 3 rebounds. Wally Szczerbiak had a solid game off of the bench with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Chris Wilcox pitched in with 13 points and 4 rebounds. The Supersonics fell to 9-30 on the season and last night’s loss was their 9th in a row.

Kurt Thomas is providing the Seattle Supersonics with muscle

Kurt Thomas had really played well for the Supersonics so far this season as he’s providing them with rebounding and defense. Thomas has played in 22 games so far this season and he is averaging 24.8 minutes, 6.7 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 blocked shots per game. His leadership has been very influential on the young Sonics roster also which makes Thomas even more valuable to the team.
