The Supersonics have acquired power forward Kurt Thomas and first round picks in both 2008+2010 from the Suns for a conditional 2009 second round pick.  This was an excellent move for the Sonics who took advantage of the Suns salary cap situation.  Thomas played in 67 games (13 starts) last season for the Suns and he averaged 18.0 minutes, 4.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.  Thomas shot 48.6% from the floor and 78.9% from the free throw line.

Over his NBA career Thomas has played in 747 games (526 starts) and he has averaged 27.8 minutes, 10.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.  He has made 48.4% of his shots from the floor, 25.9% from three point range and 76.9% from the free throw line.
