The Sonics have decided to go in a different direction after firing Bob Hill.  Hill coached in part of two seasons for the Sonics and he compiled a 53-81 (39.6%) record for them.  Over his career, Hill has a record of 310-293 (51.4%) during the regular season and he has a post season record of 17-20 (45.9%).  In Hill’s defense the Sonics had a lot of major injuries to deal with and it looked like he did the best job he possibly could.
