Luke Ridnour directing the offense well

Ridnour has played very well this season and has stepped up as the #3 option in the Sonics offense.  Luke is becoming more aggressive with his own shot which has really helped the Sonics offense as a whole because Ridnour is such a good shooter.  Ridnour is hitting 48.6% from the floor and 41.5% on 3-pointers this season.  He has averaged 14.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

Sonics split two tough games over the weekend

The Sonics beat the Pacers 105-103 on Friday Night at home.  They then flew to Utah and lost 109-107 on Saturday Night.

The Sonics played great on offense but very poor on defense over the weekend.  Ray Allen led the way as he averaged 25.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.  Rashard Lewis also had a good weekend, averaging 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest.  Luke Ridnour was very efficient at running the offense with 15.0 points and 8.0 assists per game.  Chris Wilcox (13.0 points, 7.0 rebounds) and Nick Collison (14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds) provided some muscle in the paint for the Sonics.

The Sonics now sit at 7-11 on the season.
