Sonics blasted by Spurs 98-78

The Sonics never had a chance in this game.  The Spurs shot 52.6% from the floor as a team and out-rebounded the Sonics 48-34 on Sunday.

Ray Allen led the way with 21 points.  Nick Collison was solid off the bench with 15 points and 7 rebounds.  Luke Ridnour had a decent game running the point with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.

The Sonics fell to 6-9 with this loss.

Sonics don’t play defense and lose 109-100 to Kings

The Sonics couldn’t stop the Kings, who shot 51.2% from the floor on Friday.  Rashard Lewis had a great game with 26 points and 7 rebounds.  Luke Ridnour did a good job of directing the attack with 20 points and 8 assists.  Ray Allen had an off-night as he only hit 6 of 22 shots from the floor.  Allen wound up with 18 points, 4 assists and 3 steals.  Chris Wilcox was a monster in the paint with 15 points and 13 rebounds.

The Sonics fell to 6-8 on the season with this loss.

Sonics take advantage of tired Clippers 95-85

The Sonics caught the Clippers at the right time, the night after they lost to the Lakers.  The Clippers looked tired and the Sonics took advantage of that.

Rashard Lewis had a monster game with 35 points and 13 rebounds.  Ray Allen added 23 points.  Luke Ridnour was a good floor general last night with 12 points and 9 assists.  Nick Collison provided muscle off the bench with 6 points and 13 rebounds.

This was a solid win that improves the Sonics record to 6-7 on the season.

Sonics blitz the Nets in the second half and win 99-87 over Nets

The Sonics outscored the Nets 54-36 in the second half to prevail on Monday Night.  The Sonics won despite getting out-rebounded 44-33 in the game.

Ray Allen had a great game with 29 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.  Rashard Lewis had a good game with 20 points and 4 assists.  Luke Ridnour had a good game leading the attack with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.  Johan Petro had a good game with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots.

The Sonics fell to 5-7 on the season.

Sonics can’t keep up with Warriors and lose 107-95

The Sonics tried to go small and run with the Warriors, but they couldn’t keep up.  The Sonics defense also suffered as the Warriors hit 50% of their shots on Saturday Night.

Ray Allen had a great game with 34 points & 11 rebounds.  Rashard Lewis had a decent game with 17 points & 7 rebounds.  Earl Watson started alongside Luke Ridnour and scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 7 assists.  Ridnour scored 14 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.

The Sonics should have went with their regular line-up as they played right into the Warriors hands.  The Sonics fell to 4-7 on the season.
